I bought two apples from the rocky mountain chocolate factory with toppings on it of course, should i put them in the fridge or leave them out? im giving them as part of a gift in two days.

where should i keep them until then?

They will stay fresher in the fridge. However, it really won't make a lot of difference. It is only 2 days.

I want to make some chocolate covered cherries as a gift for my uncle. I purchased some fresh cherries as he loves them and wanted to know if i could use those to dip in chocolate instead of the jarred ones.

please the most important thing is to cut the pit out of the fresh cherries. If he bites into one and chips a tooth…. as happy and kind as the thought is, it would be forgotten in one bite.
wash them thoroughly first and dry and de-stem them, I cut them in half (at room temperature. Then I take the pit out and use a drop of the melted chocolate to bond the halves together and chill them a little before dipping them as well

For christmas im making chocolate gifts and i double boiled it. its not liquifiying tho!! what im i doing wrong?!

chocolate is tuff, you have to be carefull.
if using a double boiler you need to bring the bottom pot of water to a boil first…then add the second pot with chocolate and stir often…it shoudnt scorch or burn because you are using hot water to melt it. maybe you need to turn it up just a touch….

and no you dont add anything to the chocolate itself to make it melt, once its melted you can add your nuts or whatever you are doing .. like ingredients for fudge…etc…
